MODERN HESCO ACCOMMODATION BUNKER – HAB2 FOR THE MILITARY ENGINEERING AND CBRN TRAINING CENTER
The opening ceremony of the Hesco HAB2 Accommodation Bunker was attended by representatives of Megmar L&C from Kutno along with the CEO Mariusz Maślarz. The military was represented by Col. Artur Talik from the General Command and Col. Rajmund Giera from the Operational Command. The ribbon was cut by the Commander of the Center, Col. Kazimierz Łucki together with the CEO Mariusz Maślarz. Among the invited guests, there appeared also Mr Leszek Bogdan – Director of the Military Institute of Technical Engineering.
HAB 2 multifunctional shelter is intended to protect soldiers against small arms, shrapnel and mortar shells up to 82 millimetres. It has an area of 40 square meters. It can be used as a part of the command post for eight people working at computers or a small field hospital unit for at least eight patients. In the case of shelling, it can serve as a shelter for a dozen people. The new shelter may also be a good place for training, for example for specialists dealing with fortifications on the battlefield.
In the conference room arranged for the occasion, the representatives of Megmar L&C presented a film in order to familiarize the gathered with other force protection products.
