AIRCRAFT BATTERIES

Aircraft batteries are a source of power for the independent motor starting equipment and emergency power supply.

The HBL company offers a complete line of aviation batteries, which are used in most of the currently used aircraft.

APPLICATION:

  • Providing backup electrical power to the plane circuit, where the efficiency of the aircraft generator is insufficient, the generator does not work or is not being used
  • Independent launching of aircraft engines (without ground support unit)

HBL batteries are available in the following variants:

Lead acid batteries, AGM type (SS28300): Mi-8, Mi-17, An-32, Iskra

Silver zinc batteries (15SCS-45B): MIG-29

Nickel cadmium batteries (20NKBN25U3): Su-22

HBL Power Systems Ltd has been a major supplier of aviation batteries for the Indian Army for over 30 years. It provides products for both Russian and Western aircrafts.

As a result of large expenditures on R&D and investments related to offset, the HBL company has the ability to manufacture batteries installed on most aircraft operating in the world today, including machinery of such manufacturers as CASA, MiG, Sukhoi, Boeing, Bell, Airbus, Sikorsky etc. All products and technologies offered by HBL has been developed by the company in-house at its research centers in Hyderabad, India.

If the end user needs to redesign or modify the batteries, this can be done by HBL engineers.
