METS™ trainer, RB-S model
METS, RB-S MODEL
Military vehicle trainer adapted to carry out training of evacuation in the event of capsizing – for crews and landings.
The greatest danger faced by crew and passengers in a FRC / RIB is capsizing and death from drowning.
The simulator offered (RB-S model by Survival Systems Ltd.) is used for training purposes in the field of underwater escape from the boat.
This modular simulator is integrated into the METS® mounting frame. As with all SSL’s METS™ the size and characteristics of this version are relative to egress and scaled to the actual RB-S.
In addition to accommodating the full crew cabin and full forward and aft decks and Samson posts, the trainer’s features include components such as coxswain, navigator, and crew seats; sliding doors, aft door, cuddy cabin hatch; steering, engine gearshift, throttle controls; and radar / navigation / communication instruments.
