26th International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO

On 4-7 September the 26th edition of the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce was held, the letimotif of which was  the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining its independence. The MSPO in Kielce aims at helping to modernize the Polish Armed Forces, as well as to strengthen the Polish defense industry. This year it is of great significance. Honorary auspices over the event was taken by the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda.

The show gives an opportunity to present new solutions in equipment and armaments as well as to hold business meetings with current clients and establish contacts with potential partners. As every year, our company also participated in the MSPO exhibition. The MLC stand was visited by a record number of representatives of both national and international armed forces, embassies and defense industry.

MLC participated in this event along with its foreign partners: Angus Fire Limited, Cobham Mast Systems, FAUN Trackway, Survitec Group, Hesco, Inzpire Ltd, Taco Antenna and Frequentis AG,  whose exhibits received a great deal of attention.

The individual pilot flight equipment, i.e., a low-profile life jacket with dry suit, armoured aircrew life preservers for fast-jet aircrafts and GECO (Air) – mission planning system caught visitors’ attention. In addition, as for individual protection measures against contamination, we presented current solutions and development trends regarding protective clothing and measures to detect chemical warfare agents.

We presented, among others, antennas for radio and satellite communications, composite masts, equipment for engineering troops, fire-fighting equipment and life support equipment.

The company submitted three products to the DEFENDER Award:

  • HESCO HAB2 Accommodation Bunker, which provides ballistic protection against side and overhead explosions. It is perfect to act as a tactical operating center, military hospitals or canteens.
  • SURVITEC Med Pre-Hospital Care System (PCS) that meets NATO’s requirements for Tactical Combat Casualty Care. Selected elements of this system were demonstrated at the stand, i.e., a Combat Paramedic Pack Waterproof  and a Combat Paramedic Pack. The above system is currently utilized by the UK and US Special Forces.
  • BRITECLOUD – Expendable Active Decoy by LEONARDO – designed to increase the survivability of the military transport aircrafts, by actively counteracting advanced radar-guided missiles and fire-control radars.

This is obviously only a small part of the rich offer of MEGMAR, which activity has for years been contributing to the modernization of the Polish army and strengthening the defense and security of Poland.

Efforts put into the preparation of our exhibition stand were also appreciated by the Board of Kielce Trade Fairs. For the stand’s arrangement, we were granted a certificate and medal – a distinctive award “for the original and innovative style”.
