UNDERWATER EQUIPMENT BY MLC AT BME 2016

Balt Military Expo 2016 exhibition came to an end. It was the 14th edition of the Gdansk international event, inextricably linked with the sea and the coast. On 20-22 June one could visit stands of 156 exhibitors from 15 countries, including Germany, France, Great Britain, Israel, Sweden, the Netherlands, Canada and, of course, Poland.

MEGMAR L&C presented the equipment and facilities in the field of underwater technology and maritime security, eg. Pegasus underwater tractor, Edgetech sonar or Survitec vests. Both visitors and journalists were particularly interested in Predator – a small, remote-guided underwater vehicle that can be used in all types of waters to perform the inspection, detection, as well as search and rescue operations.

In the article on Predator, published in the exhibition magazine RAPORT-wto (BME 3/2016) the vehicle offered by MLC was called one of the most interesting robots for underwater work.

The next edition of Baltic Military Expo fair will be held in 2 years’ time, in the year 2018. It will certainly not be missed by MEGMAR L&C.
