On September 5-8 Kielce became the world’s defence capital. It was in this city that the jubilee 25th edition of the International Defence Industry Exhibition was held, which is one of the largest and most important defence fairs in the world. The show gathered here representatives of the military industry from all corners of the globe. Honorary auspices over the event was taken by the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda.

As every year, our company also participated in the MSPO exhibition. The MLC stand was visited by a record number of representatives of both national and international armed forces, embassies and industry.

The equipment of aircraft pilots, and in particular the mission planning tablet GECO (AIR) received a great deal of attention among visitors. In addition, in the section on individual protection measures against contamination, we presented current solutions and development trends regarding protective clothing as well as combat chemical agents detector kits.

On our stand visitors could obtain information about , a.o.,  physical protection systems, antennas for radio and satellite communications, equipment for engineering troops and fuel distribution equipment.

The company submitted three products to the DEFENDER Award:

  • BIO – SKIN, as a new type of protection against contamination and hazardous chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear chemicals (CBRN);
  • Multifunctional AN/USM 708 tester for testing, a. o., interrogators and transponders operating in all Modes, including Mode 5 (MARK XIIA);
  • Hesco Bastion protective structures for the construction of shelters, earthworks and guard posts

This is obviously only a small part of the rich offer of MEGMAR, which activity has for years been contributing to the modernization of the Polish army and strengthening the defence and security of Poland.

A substantial moment for the Company was signing  the “Letter of Intent” with Military University of Technology in Warsaw which laid the foundations for a cooperation agreement.

Our Company was also awarded the statuette of ” the Proud Veteran” by the Association of Wounded and Suffered Foreign Missions Veterans, which was handed over to the President of the Company by General Commander of Polish Armed Forces – divisional general Jarosław MIKA.

Efforts in the preparation of our exhibition stand were also appreciated by the Board of Kielce Trade Fairs. For the stand’s arrangement, we were granted a certificate – a distinctive award “for the elegance and style of fair appearance.”
