On September 7th during the 25th edition of the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce our company participated in a special ceremony.

The Association of Wounded and Suffered Foreign Missions Veterans in recognition of our long-standing cooperation and partnership awarded Megmar L&C with the statuette of THE PROUD VETERAN“, which was handed to the President of the Company Mr. Mariusz Maślarz by General Commander of Polish Armed Forces – divisional general Jarosław MIKA.

– As a General Commander of Polish Armed Forces and a representative of the Minister of National Defence today, I would like to thank all those who do not spare their effort to help the injured veterans. There is no a sad veteran, there is only a veteran  proud of himself and  his  uniform” – said General Mika during the ceremony of awarding the statuette of the Proud Veteran.

– … I am happy to accept this statuette and thank you very much for the award on behalf of myself and the MEGMAR team. I believe that the armaments industry, which benefits from cooperation with armed forces, also has its responsibilities. One of them is helping those for whom the soldier’s luck was less favourable  – said the CEO Mariusz Maślarz, receiving a statuette from the General Commander during the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce.

Ms. Elżbieta Maślarz, a Vice-President of the Company, was awarded a commemorative medal “PACI SERVIO”, which was handed by the President of the Main Board of the Association, Senior Staff Warrant Officer  inactive Tomasz KLOC.

“The Proud Veteran” statuette is of particular importance to us, as it has only  been granted five times  by now. In previous years, the statuettes were granted to:  Wojskowe Zakłady Mechaniczne, Polski Holding Obronny, Targi Kielce SA as well as Lockheed Martin.

MEGMAR L&C has supported the Association since 2009. As one of the first, among organizations, it drew attention to the needs of the veterans. Supporting the Association is part of the Company’s business  and is mandatory for us.
