OPEN SHOOTING COMPETITION: MEGMAR ON THE PODIUM

On 8th June, 2017, the 5th edition of the Open Shootings Competition was held at the shooting range nearby Siedlce. The organizer of the undertaking was the Commander
of the 23rd Tactical Aviation Squadron – Col. pilot Piotr IWASZKO, who also serves as a Garrison Commander.

The competition consisted of two parts: shooting with  the “BERYL” rifle and shooting with  the WIST-94 pistol,  separately for professional soldiers and non-soldiers. The total score of both shootings decided about the win.

Shooting competition for civilians  was preceded by theoretical training with the BTL1 Wireless Laser Trainer as well gun training. Shooting both types of gun aroused great emotions among non-soldiers, since for most participants it was the first contact with the weapon.

Representatives of Police, Gendarmerie, Fire Brigade, Military Recruiting Command of Mińsk Mazowiecki, City Hall of Mińsk Mazowiecki, as well as representatives of private companies, including MEGMAR L&C took part in the competition.

As for the civilian, the first three places were taken by the representatives of our company: 1st place – Katarzyna Górska, 2nd place – Anna Krzeszewska and 3rd place – Małgorzata Chodorowska.

At the end of the event, Col. pilot Piotr Iwaszko summarized  competitions, and then he handed  cups and certificates to the winners.
